Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/yourproject.git cd yourproject
Install dependencies via Composer

composer install
Environment configuration

cp .env.example .env

Edit .env file with your database credentials and other settings.
Generate application key (if using Laravel or similar)

php artisan key:generate
Run database migrations (if applicable)

php artisan migrate

.env - Environment variables (database, API keys, app settings)
config/app.php - Application-level configuration
config/database.php - Database connection settings
php.ini - PHP runtime settings

PHP INI recommendations for production:

Usage

Development server (quick start):

php -S localhost:8000 -t public

Open browser: http://localhost:8000

Production deployment - Nginx:

Production deployment - Apache (.htaccess):
